Hmm, hmm hmm. Well. Ill start talking about these pictures.
The first ones are from when I went to Kyles house. We never started playing cards so they got out Tip It. that game is very intense. I have no idea how a hyper active 7 year old could play that game ever. We had a hard enough time even with the gravity balancer all the way down. Aaron got upset because he kept loosing his turns. But thats cause he sucks and doesnt pay attention to rules. You never touch the stand with your hand! I like the game. So did Kyle, if you couldnt tell.
After the game and a scene change, we needed something else to do. Stacey gave us the idea to put ideas in a hat and then draw them all out until we get to the last one and thats what we would do. I put two very good ideas in: make a fort and cave drawrings. Side note - Wet Hot American Sumemr is one of my favorite movies ever. Watch it. Love it. End side note. But my ideas didnt get picked. We ended up with Techno Rave Party, which I loved all the same. It took us a while to go down to the basement to get it all set up. First we had to decorate and without any strobe or colored lights we had to use halloween pumpkins and christmas lights. By the time we were done with all that the basement was looking pretty good. Then we had to get music. Kevin put a playlist together. Then we danced. Aaron was a party pooper and left after only taking pictures. Lame. But everyone else danced. It was great. I dont know how long the rave was happening but I was satisfied with it by the time Dance Magic was over. PS- Michael Jordan decided to make a cameo too. He loves techno music.
There was more night swimming in between these pictures. It was very nice. The pool was ridiculously warm and there were hardly any bugs out.
The next two pictures are from last night. Me and Aaron went to hang out with this kid named Frank from Huntley. I like him, hes pretty funny. And he knows interesting things to do. We went flying on rollar coaster road on our way to a truck stop diner. At the first truck stop I was informed that all truck stops are are shrunken down Walmarts. This was very true. You can get anything there. Except socks. There were no socks there. Truckers dont need socks, I guess. Still at the first stop, Frank showed us some crazy stuff. There was a whole room of phones on the first floor and on the second, yes ma'am, this was a two story truck stop, there were showers and a mini movie theatre/ chapel. It was all pretty interesting. We were sitting in the movie seats in the first picture and the second is of the shower sign. There were some really nice pamphlets left over from Sundays service too. Im upset I didnt grab on. One said something like "God says please do not die." and another showed a truck with two roads to travel, one of a grave and death and another of a sparkling Jesus and eternal life. Very comical. We made our way to the second truck stop and ate food. I got a denver omlette. It was pretty tasty. The kids we were with were good company. I laughed really hard at some points haha! Like when one called another a "dick ass." So that was last night.
Now, this last picture I took today on my way to work. It reminded me of the otehr night when I went to see Strangers With Candy in Chicago with Matt. We drove down on 90 and at on point we got squished down to one and a half lanes for two lanes of cars for constructional purposes. We were in the right lane which was a bad idea. There was a huge saw on the back of a truck going at the street inches away from us. Scariest driving time ever. It was a truck saw! Like a truck that was a saw. Like some kind of transformer or something. This truck in the picture was pretty scary too. Not as scary... but whatever. Its huge claw kept swingin around and all the branches in the back were bouncin all over the place... crazy. I love the city though. It was really warm and dark but lite by street lights and somewhat noisy. I loved it. And I loved the movie. It was hilarious! Matt really liked it too even though he never watched the show. Steven Colbert was the best character I thought. Very funny stuff.
So thats it for now... Im going to see Camera Obscura at Logan Square tomorrow with Becki. I love jazzy music. Im kind of upset though, Murder By Death is playing in DeKalb and Ive really liked what Ive heard from Matt... o well. This should still be fun. Ill try to take lots of pictures. Im really excited!
